Spain officially the Kingdom of Spain located on the Iberian Peninsula

Population of Spain In 2008, the population was 46 million people From this: a)about 40 million people were Spanish citizen b)About 6 million were immigrants

The population grew +2,12% in The State’s population density 91 people/km2 The most populated areas lie around the coast and Madrid.

The most populous towns: Madrid Barcelona Valencia Sevilla Saragossa Malaga

The ethnic distribution of Spain: 72% Castilian 8% Catalan 8% Galician 2% basque The Spanish Constitution of 1978

The largest immigrant groups: Latin- American (1,5 million) Romanian (1 million) British German Italian Chinese Portuguese French
