What? Mission Values Principles

Mission The mission of the Alliance is to promote the co-operative and mutualist formula to young people by fostering and ensuring their commitment, involvement and representation in the Quebec co-operative and mutualist movement. The Alliance works in collaboration with the Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité to promote co-operative and mutual development in Quebec and to assure the application of methods adapted to the realities faced by youths and their communities.

Principles 1.Voluntary membership and open to all young co-operators and mutualists. 2.Democratic control exercised by members of the Alliance. 3.Recognition of young co-operators and mutualists. 4.Communication and sharing. 5.Co-operative education. 6.Youth integration. 7.Integrated co-operative development.

How? Regional intersectoral delegation 1 delegate per sector for each of the 17 administrative regions 153 delegates will have the right to vote at the Alliance assembly The intersectoral regional tables will have the mandate of leading their community

Role of regional tables Bring together young co-operators and mutualists of the region To collect and pass on their concerns and realities Create links with the community and fuel the promotion of the co- operative formula Co-operation week Building co-operative futures youth week All events regarding collective entrepreneurship

How to get involved? By one of the following ways: I become a regional delegate for my sector OR I participate in activities with the intersectoral table of my region I attend the annual assembly of the Alliance I support the activities of the Alliance as an organisation
