Ro EnduRoMania = 11 years of experience in active, sport and adventure tourism In South-Western Romania
EnduRoMania is a simple concept based on the lack of infrastructure The roads are currently used by the local people The network of trails offers excellent “off-highway” conditions
EnduRoMania is an unique off-road event: - more orienteering than speed - more tourism than competition - more team-spirit than breaking records the GPS devices are recommended to be used for navigation
From May to October, there are 8 EnduRoMania events, every year Most of the participants are from Germany, Austria, Czechia, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, Holland, Great Britain, Belgium and Sweden
Teams of minimum 3 members, riding 4,1/2 days, chosing the routes according to their experience and disposal, to reach about 80 check points spreaded on sqkm
It is compulsory to use only the existing roads and to avoid the protected areas (national parks and reservations) Can be used “enduro”and “touring” bikes, side-cars, mountainbikes ATV-s (Quad-s) and 4X4 cars
The winners are the teams who reached the most of the check points and they are awarded with trophies, medals and diplomas
A network of guest houses offers good conditions for accommodation and specific services
EnduRoMania Foundation is a member of “PROMOTOUR” Association to promote active tourism in the Tzarcu-Muntele Mic area
