Color Wheel Is there is difference between the color wheel for paint and the colors in the light spectrum?

In paint pigments, pure Yellow, pure Red and pure Blue are theoretically the only colors that can't be created by mixing any other colors – Primary Colors.

SECONDARY COLORS - When you mix any 2 of the Pure colors, you get: YELLOW + RED = ORANGE RED + BLUE = PURPLE BLUE + YELLOW = GREEN

In order to get the tertiary colors you need to mix the secondary colors.. YELLOW + ORANGE = YELLOW-ORANGE RED + ORANGE = RED-ORANGE RED + PURPLE = RED-PURPLE BLUE + PURPLE = BLUE-PURPLE BLUE + GREEN = BLUE-GREEN YELLOW + GREEN = YELLOW-GREEN
