danny Jones Made by Claire Attard

Biography  He’s 5’ 11” (1.80 m) tall.  He has Scottish blood, but he’s originally from Bolton, Lancashire.  He attended the Thomleigh Salesian College in Bolton.  Afterwards, he went to Bury.  Danny Jones was born on the 12 th. Of March, 1986; under the name Daniel Alan David Jones.  He got picked at school because he loved playing the guitar.

 At the age of 15, he went down to Harow, Greater London, and lived with Tom Fletcher (bandmate) for a few years.  Then, they went to live in a motel and wrote half their first album, Room on the Third Floor, there.  Danny accidentally auditioned for singer and guitarist of band V which he mistakened for pop/punk band Busted. That’s where he met his other bandmates, Harry and Dougie.

 When he was about 12, he wrote a song called Not Alone, which talked about his childhood abuse. Then, he wrote Walk In The Sun.  He was rumoured to date rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly.  In 2006, he,together with his band, went to build a school in Ugnanda, North East Africa. n December 2005, his band, McFly, released their first DVD, Wonderland Tour.

 Last year, in December, his band released their second DVD, MITO Tour (MITO=Motion In The Ocean).  Now, he’s popular not because he’s with McFly, but famous for his heart of gold.  At the moment, they’re recording their fourth album, McFly:The Greatest Hits and on the 2 nd. December they’re filming the Greatest Hits on DVD in Cardiff Arena.

Reasons why I admire him…  He’s got a fantastic voice.  He’s got a heart of gold.  He writes songs about interesting topics such as his childhood.  He’s very funny.
