The Kemper and Ethel Marley Foundation SCIENCE STANDARDS “The final version of the NGSS were released on April 9, Arizona has not yet adopted the NGSS and Arizona’s 2004 Science Standard will still be in effect for the school year.” Arizona’s 2004 Science Standard – Strand 1: Inquiry Process: Concept 1: Observations, Questions, and Hypotheses Observe, ask questions, and make predictions. Concept 2: Scientific Testing (Investigating and Modeling) Participate in planning and conducting investigations, and recording data. Concept 3: Analysis and Conclusions Organize and analyze data; compare to predictions. (4 th Grade) Analyze and interpret data to explain correlations and results; formulate new questions. (5 th – 8 th Grade)
