Gravity By. Spencer Liston & Nick Ackerman

What is gravity? Gravity is a force pulling together matter (which is anything you can physically touch.) The more matter, the more gravity, so things that have a lot of matter such as planets, moons and stars pull more strongly.

Sir Isaac Newton Born December 25, 1642 Born in Woolsthorpe, England He was a scientist and mathematician. He discovered the Law of Gravity. Was never married. Died at age 85 on March 20, 1727.

The Law of Gravity Sir Isaac Newton got the idea of “The Law of Gravity” from an apple from a tree fell on his head. Every object in the universe attracts every other object with a force directed along the line of centers for the 2 objects that is relative to the product of their masses and opposite comparative to the square of the separation between the 2 objects.

Force of Gravity Gravity is a force that attracts objects toward the Earth. Gravitational force attracts objects of mass towards each at great distances. Gravity applies two objects on or near the surface of the Earth. The equation for the force of gravity is F=mg.
