Student Veterans Organization Mission Statement Support All Veterans in their academic success Campus faculty and staff in their quest to assist these Veterans achieve academic success Attend To the educational needs of the Veterans at Ivy Tech To our community by assisting Veterans build a better future To our country to create a positive pay-in-forward atmosphere Awareness Veterans continue to feel that Ivy Tech is prepared to serve them Of individualized needs such as career, self-improvement and family Of the educational resources available to the Veterans

SVO Goals Assist Veterans receive their degree or technical training needed to fulfill their academic goals Encourage Veterans to develop a professional outlook during their transition from military to civilian life Reach out to Veterans that are unaware of what the MFRI, Ivy Tech and the SVO have to offer them Continue strong community based relationships through volunteer activities
