On going activity On going activity. We are consulted on a regular basis by the Irish Medicines Board (IMB) in respect of substantive issues relating to the implementation of regulations for homoeopathic and traditional herbal medicinal products. We have been invited to attend meeting with the CEO to debate the implementation of the THMPD, we await a suitable date. We currently engaged in a consultative process with the Food Safety Authority in respect of legislative issues effecting our industry sector ; Irradiation of foods PACBs and Dioxin levels in supplements The implementation of the Food Supplement Directive Shortly we will engage in on going consultation with the FSAI within the structure of a newly established Liaison Forum. We continue to actively lobby the Government and the Department of Health in respect to the positions taken by our representatives in key EU discussions in particular the implementation of Food Supplement Directive & the Nutritional Claims Regulation Through our affiliation to our European Federation EHPM Jonathan Griffith TA is a Board Member, we have a consultative role with the European Commission in relation to all issues effecting Food Supplements. We keep in regular contact with colleagues in other Member States, where the sharing of information is proving to be increasingly important in achieving harmonisation along lines that we find acceptable.
