 Marlo Thomas is more than just an actor she has written books about “prompting health attitudes toward identity in young children” the books cover subjects such as divorce, sibling rivalry, friendship, and stereotypes.  She also had a TV program called The Human Body: Facts for Girls and won an Emmy Award for it in  She has done many more TV programs and books that are all to help kids deal with life and family issues.

 Marlo is important to society because she is hard working and a good role model for many people.  She helps out the community by publishing books about how children can deal with issues in their life.  This makes her very influential on people today to make good choices

 Marlo has been selected for a Jefferson Award for her 20 year commitment to raise money for pediatric cancer research and her involvement with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (which was founded by her father)  She insist that charity work changed her life she says to the press “It completely stops you short. It’s almost irresistible. You have to stop doing what you’re doing and help.”

 Marlo Thomas is a very kind a caring person and someone everyone needs to look up to she is such a good role model because she helps out St. Jude and publishes books on how children can deal with their issues at home these are all the reasons why Marlo Thomas is such a important person to society.
