The Senior Project Basics By: Thomas Bliven
What do detectives do? Being employed to be a detective is not easy work at all. This job consists of securing the scene of the crime, interviewing suspects, and configuring what happened and how it all happened.
There are so many jobs that go into this job field such as crime scene photographer, fingerprint specialist, forensics artist, toxicologist, and physiologist just to name a few.
Job shadowing My shadowing consisted of riding with a detective on duty. Looking at fingerprints through inferred lights. Working with many products from sirchie.
More on my shadowing The place where all this was done is at the Nags Head Police Department Some of the people I stayed with for the day told me that they will be happy to have any other students.
My reason for deciding this career: Many factors go into choosing the job which you want to do for the rest of your life, but for me, the choice was because it would be something that I could learn more information about this job.
More on my product My product is a great example of my occupation because it is something that they actually do in the field at the crime scene. The act of “lifting a fingerprint” is something that some people may not know about beforehand.
