About Northwestern Academy Four programming areas – Personal Enrichment & Leadership Development through classroom and field experiences, focusing on personal growth and reflection. – College Advising for both students and families – Cultural & Civic Engagement through events in and around the city of Chicago No cost for student or family Adaptive programs to meet students’ needs – No event is for all students – No two students have an identical experience

Who Qualifies? Academically excellent, earning all As & Bs in rigorous courses (AP, IB, Honors when available) Must meet one of the following four categories: – Socioeconomically disadvantaged (i.e. free or reduced lunch, or a family of four earning >$65,000) – Underrepresented ethnic or cultural minority (i.e. African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Pacific Islander, etc.) – First-generation in family to attend a four-year college in the United States
