Getting Started!

The First Steps Students login using their Eduspace booklets that each should have received shrinkwrapped with their new textbooks. (The same procedure should be followed by students who purchased their Eduspace booklets separately.) Note: Students must also have a course code from their instructors, or they will be unable to register.

Click “Register” to create an account. Students should follow these steps in order to register: 1)To register and login, go to: Under “Get Started,” click the “Register” button.

Note: Students must have enough digits in their username/password. They also must have an account. 2) Fill out the registration form by entering your first name, last name, and address. Then click “Create Account”.

6)After your username and password are accepted, you will see this window: 7)Click the “here” link to return to the main Eduspace page. 8)Before continuing with the enrollment process, write down your username and password.

Students: Click here to enroll in your instructor’s course. 10)Using your new username and password, login to Eduspace. You should then see this window: 11)Under “How Do I For Students,” select “enroll into your course.”

12)In the next window, select “Student (Enroll into Course)” and click “Submit.”

13)The next window will prompt you to enter a course code. 14)This code should be provided to you by your instructor. 15)After entering the course code, click “Submit.”

16)The next window will prompt you to enter your unique alphanumeric passkey (found on the back inside cover of your Getting Started Guide for Students). 17)Enter the passkey exactly as it is written and click “Submit.” [ NOTE: If your are enrolling in an Eduspace course for this title for the first time, you will be asked to enter a passkey. However, if you are already enrolled in another course for this same title (for example: two-semester course or a new section of the course with a different professor), then you are NOT required to enter a passkey.]

18)You should receive the following message: 19)Select “Close Window.”

20)Return to the Eduspace page.

“Courses” tab is located on the top navigation bar. 21) Select the blue “Courses” tab. 22)Find the link to your course listed under “Courses in which you are enrolled:” and select the link.
