Introduction Do you know a lot about poison dart frog. If you do not know a lot about poison dart frogs you should read this!

What They Eat? Poison dart frogs like to eat small things such as flightless fruit flies, crickets, termites, rice flower beetles, aphids, small fly larvae, pillbugs and small wild insect "fried plankton”. They eat with a long sticky tongue that darts out and zaps the prey.

Habitat They live in the tropical forests of Nicaragua to Brazil, some even live in Hawaii!

Adaptations and Descriptions Most poison dart frogs are the size of a paper clip and that’s really small! Different spices have different color such as the strawberry poison dart frog is all red with blue legs.

Fun facts Did you know a long time ago some Amerindian people use their poison for darts In 1999 a zoo pathologist found a mysterious disease that is killing a lot of poison dart frogs. Did you know poison dart frogs have enough poison to kill 20,000 mice! They get there toxin from the food they eat!
