In EU e.g. Bologna process (in higher edu) Practical example: decentralized joint education delivery process (e.g. in Africa by ITC & partner institutions).. Milestones to date Executive Seminar ITC GEO ISPRS Nov, , ITC, Enschede, NL Goal / aim: –Bring together education providers, experts in recognition (accreditation), governance (quality assurance), professionals (GI sector) –Jointly analyze problems, formulate potential solutions and set out pathway to initiate process -> internationally acceptable solutions
