Tuition and Costs The total cost of college including tuition, room and board, and other costs for resident students is $35,368 per year. - The Tuition is $23, Annual fees are $2,005. -Book and Supplies are ~$1,000. -Room and Board $8,888. Costs are the same for both in-state and out of state students. The average financial aid package is $16,069.

Programs Offered Some programs offered that I am interested in are, computer software and media applications. Something that uses technology. Special academic programs that interest me are summer session, and the study- abroad program.

Sports/Campus Life Duquesne offers many sports to participate in. Some of the most appealing ones are: -Football -Basketball -Soccer -Swimming -Baseball -Volleyball -Cross Country -Track and Field They offer many housing options as well. They are; Men- only housing, women-only housing, and coed. Students are required to live on campus their sophomore year.

Career Connect Some services offered that would assist with job placement are, internships, and the ability to earn degrees by attending class part-time. Some services offered are: Job Fairs, Job Interviews, Resume Referrals, and interview workshops.

College Essay Applicants MUST include a double-spaced essay about why they should be accepted, including a self evaluation. Can be contain on of the following: -Why you became interested in the field of study and programs you are applying for. -General work experience and other experiences you wish to share. -honors you have received. -long-term professional goals. Essays are usually three pages maximum. Also include a resume or curriculum vita.

Miscellaneous College Questions The application deadline is July 1 st The average class size is less than % of students are hired after graduation. They have 5 dinning halls, but also have 10 other restaurants. Located in Pittsburgh.

Career & What They Do Architect Characteristics of the job: -Prepares scale drawings using computer design software or conventional design tools. -Plans layouts for projects. -Integrates structural engineering into designs -Conducts on-site reviews of construction. -Prepares information for designs.
