Welcome to ROLCC Children Center RiverKids Rules and Procedures Sep 8, 2013 Presented by Ms. Stacey

Rules (R-O-L-C-C) 1.R(-espect) - Keep your hands and feet to yourself. 2.O (-bey) - Follow directions the first time they are given; transition quickly. 3.L (-isten) - Listen to the teacher/speaker without interrupting. 4.C (-are) - Be cooperative and helpful in group activities. 5.C (-hrist-like) - Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Positive Consequences You feel GREAT for doing the right thing! Praise High-fives Stickers Treats and Prizes

Negative Consequences Level 1: One Verbal Warning Level 2: Take a Break (TAB) Students will be gently excused from the group activity to sit in the “TAB Chair” for 2 minutes or until they are ready to join the group properly. Level 3: Take a Break Out and Back Students will be sent outside to talk to a teacher, and then come back to the group when ready. Level 4: Notify Parents Parents may be required to sit in during the children’s service to assist and correct misbehavior.

Riverkids Passport You get one sticker for each category: Come on time (first 10 minutes) Bring the Bible (first 30 minutes) Exhibit positive behavior Memorize Bible verses (parent signature) Pray for Missionaries (parent signature) Bonus - Ride the ROLCC shuttle bus - Other special bonus assignments by teachers or shepherds from time to time REDEEM STICKERS FOR PRIZES!

Special Children Center Rules Students can only go on the Wellspring Room play structure with teacher's approval Protect the beautiful artwork on the wall: don't touch with your hands and never use a pencil or marker to write on walls Do not put tape on the walls without permission

Special Children Center Rules No climbing on the decorative rocks outside the Children Center Do not enter the Teacher's Lounge without permission No running in any rooms or around the backstage of Splash Room Do not open emergency exit doors

Worship Expectations Come with a positive attitude for God Actively participate: stand when others are standing, sing when others are singing Follow the directions of the worship leader Listen to announcements without talking Sit inside the black boundary lines and do not pull on the black boundary lines Put all toys and Bible aside during worship

Check-in Procedures Parents will print name tags from the kiosk machines located in the Check-in Room and keep the claim tag Students will put one name tag on front of shirt and give the second name tag to check- in person Students line up outside Splash Room to get up to 3 passport stickers o On time: first 10 minutes o Bring Bible: first 30 minutes o Bonus-ride shuttle bus: first 30 minutes

Check-out Procedures Kindergarten-3rd grade students will walk from classroom to the Check-out Room for parent pick-up 4 th -5th grade students will stay in Dive Room for pick up; watch for parents and tell parents one way entrance/exit Don't lose your name tags! A teacher standing at the exit door will match claim tag/student name tag numbers

Bathroom Procedures Students kindergarten to second grade will be escorted to the restroom by a teacher. Responsible students in third grade and above may travel to the bathroom by themselves. You must have permission from an adult to go and get a Hall Pass.
