Standards National Standards: Compute fluently and make reasonable estimates Pre-K–2 Expectations: In pre-K through grade 2 all students should–  develop and use strategies for whole-number computations, with a focus on addition and subtraction;  develop fluency with basic number combinations for addition and subtraction; Georgia Performance Standards: M2N2. Students will build fluency with multi-digit addition and subtraction. a. Correctly add and subtract two whole numbers up to three digits each with regrouping. Local Standards: same as Georgia Performance Standards Nets for Students(ISTE): 1. Creativity and Innovation Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovation products and process using technology. Students: C. uses models and simulations to explore complex systems and issues D. identify trends and forecast possibilities

Addition with regrouping. Addition with regrouping is when the numbers in the ones place is more than ten. Therefore you must add a ten to the tens place to represent this.
