Questionnaire  16 questions  2 demographic (sex, age)  14 on Open Economy Institutional Quality & Sustainability  A total of 4 pages

Questionnaire  Two open-ended questions with a soft reminder  Same box-size  Radio button answers placed on the left  Hard reminder for the rest of the questions  Including DK option

Questionnaire  Age box smaller than the ones for definitions  Use of progress indicators (short survey)  No images, examples or definitions  Font size, color & placement consistent

Participants  Undergrads (Environmental Eng. Dept)  Ages between 21 & 26  52 were asked to participate  2 denied/5 breakoffs  A total of 45 valid responses

Participants  Survey conducted in our lab  Participants not allowed to communicate  Sensitive questions (e.g. political orientation)  Same invitation used to ensure anonymity
