Senior Leadership Support Senior leaders set the tone and the stage for donation within the hospital. –Set expectations for hospital performance (conversion rate) –Assume joint accountability with OPO for results –Maintain contact with OPO executive leadership –Provide the leadership to ensure best practices are implemented

Cook Childrens/LifeGift Collaboration We respect the OPO’s mandate to maximize donation. We jointly serve donor families and children awaiting transplantation. Formed close relationships throughout many levels of the hospital and LifeGift: leadership, clinicians, public relations. Actively involved in the board level of LifeGift.
