The Rockfield Way: Recess and Lunch I am Safe I am Respectful I am Responsible

Recess I wait to be dismissed by my teacher for recess I follow the Rockfield Way during recess When my bell rings, I line up for lunch K

Getting ready for Lunch I use a 0 or 1 voice level I walk to my hook spot I put my outside clothes away neatly I put my lunch choice wrist band on my wrist I put my lunch code tag around my neck (K- 1)

In the Lunch room I walk to the lunch room I use one pump of hand sanitizer I wait in line using body basics I am polite and listen to adult directions

In the lunchroom: I am Safe I walk I stay seated I raise my hand and ask to get up I use body basics while waiting for hot lunch

In the lunch room: I am Respectful I clean-up my mess and area I eat my own food My food is for eating only

I am Respectful When I am finished, I – Wait to be dismissed – Put garbage in the trash can – Use my walking feet when my teacher takes us back to class – I take my lunch bag with me to put away (ok….let’s practice!)

I am Responsible I keep my body to myself I use a 1 or 2 voice level in the lunch room I use kind words I take responsibility for walking, putting things away, and staying safe
