Why Assess ? To inform teacher planning To ensure your child is taught at the appropriate level. To provide you with information about your child’s progress.
Key Stage One Assessment Levels will be determined by teacher assessment and your child’s work throughout the year. This assessment will be confirmed by tasks or tests during the month of May. A level will be given for speaking and listening, reading, writing, mathematics and science. Reading, writing and mathematics will be divided into A,B,C for Level 2. Speaking and listening and science assessment purely by teacher assessment.
