BACKGROUND OF SANA SANA was formed in November in Canada

Objectives of SANA To inform, educate and create awareness about sindhi language, Art, culture, literature, music and history.

To help Sindhi immigrants to learn skills and knowledge for better integration in Canadian society.

Encourage Sindhi living in Canada to actively participate in affairs of Canada like political parties, school boards, social groups, Volunteer Organisation and contribute positively in Canadian society.

To arrange welfare projects in Sindh in health, education, Women development and eradication of poverty.

4.Work towards establishing community center for Sindhi community in GTA to promote cultural and educational activities.

FOCUS IN SINDH Health Support Project (HSP) Primary Education Project (PEP) Cultural Support Program ( CSP)

Health Support Project (HSP) Organise Eye camps all over sindh for eye operation and treatment of poor and needy people of sindh. Organise specialised medical camps for women and children of rural areas of sindh. Provide medical equipments and devices to district and taluka hospitals on need basis to facilitate proper medical treatment of people of sindh.

Education Support Project (HSP) Provide books, dresses, fees to poor,needy,and bright sindhi students in primary to secondary levels. Provide scholarship for needy, poor and intelligent students for higher studies in sindh. To establish skills training centers in sindh to get sindhi youths trained to make them employable and self employed

Cultural Support Program (CSP) To help sindhi Artists, writers, poets, singers, who are helpless, sick, financially troubled. To establish sindhi handicraft outlet in GTA to promote sindhi handicrafts by importing them from sindh and selling them in Canada

PROJECTS IN HAND Free Eye Camp in Dighri Sindh (completed) 140 Eye surgeries were performed people were treated.
