Before Christmas  Before Christmas people give up something like sweets and drinks and any other stuff.  Also on Christmas day people don’t eat until Christmas dinner.

Before the meal.  Before the Christmas dinner people give each other wafer biscuits called ‘oplatek’ which has picture of marry and Joseph and Jesus on it, it is passed around the table and everyone breaks a piece off and eats it. Sometimes a small piece may be given to any farm animals or pets that the family may have.

Christmas dinner  There are 12 meals on the table are  Fish, pudding, mushrooms, cake pierogi, bigos.  The Santa Claus in polish is called 'Swiety Mikolaj'  By Karolina and Klaudia.
