Why We Need God  Before we approach Him we must take care of our sins! Cf. Rom. 7:24  There are things we cannot do for ourselves to take care of sin and our impurity.

God and Purification  God has reached out and done what we cannot do. Cf. Rom. 7:25

God and Purification He gave us a conscience  “In His image” – Gen. 1:26, cf. Eccl. 3:21, 12:7  Guilt can be good  The conscience helps us – cf. Rom. 2:13, 13:5, 1 Tim. 1:5

God and Purification  Continually needed!  1 John 1:7  Acts 8:22, 1 John 1:9  A summary – Ephesians 1:3-10

What does this mean?  WE can have hope – Rom. 3:24-25, Eph. 2:8, Isa. 1:18  Our life has purpose  We owe Him – considering His part, does He ask too much? Luke 17:10, cf. Heb. 5:9, 1 Pet. 1:15-16

CHALLENGE: This week take some time to consider what God has done for you.

God has done His part, will we do ours? Is your heart pure? (2 Pet. 3:14)
