Components for change Philosophical - mission statement Action based – common language, expectations & rules, action/reaction plan, actual program implementation, exercises, recognition, rewards, accountability & consequences at: Home School Peer groups Community

Rules for Relationships: Summer Leadership Training Model – Robert Petrillo Share openly - feelings, thoughts, behaviors. No put-downs, low-blows, or power-plays. Label all behaviors, they aren’t always good. Don’t side with someone to protect yourself. Don’t talk about anyone who is not in the room. Own your own behavior. Take responsibility for your words and actions. Accept the responsibility of model and exemplar… you are what you do. Respect yourself. Do a hard thing every day.

A Foundation in Respect For self: what does it look like? For others: what does it look like? How to gain it? How to give it away? Examples, examples, examples. they need to be genuine, sincere, authentic.
