Night of the Howling Dogs by Graham Salisbury AR Book Level – 3.5 AR Book Points –5.0 # of pages – 191 Summary: When Dylan and his Scout troop plan a weekend campout on a remote beach in Hawaii, they have no clue what’s in store for them.

Dylan and his friend Casey were really looking forward to the weekend hike and camping trip their scout troop was planning.

There was just one problem: Louie. He was one of the older scouts, and he was a bully. He especially didn’t like Dylan.

At the beach, the boys set up camp and began to enjoy themselves in spite of Louie. There was a lot to explore in this part of Hawaii, and it was really beautiful, too.

But later that night, Dylan noticed two dogs on the ridge high above them. What were dogs doing way out here? Was it a sign of some kind?

What happened next could never have been imagined! How would the scouts handle it? ?
