PLEBEIANS Plebeians, plebs, plebis. Working class in ancient Rome. Bakers, farmers, & craftsmen. Support family their family and pay their taxes.

LACK OF OPPORTUNITY Little to no education. Excluded from colleges. No knowledge of the laws that governed them. No intermarriage with members of the patrician order.

REBELLION Revolts and Strikes. Secessio plebis.
