Thesis While Henry Ford structured his corporate welfare programs to fix labor problems such as the threat of employees joining unions and a mainly immigrant workforce, George Eastman did not face these problems and thus focused his corporate welfare programs on keeping his workers happy and on helping the city of Rochester, NY.
