Personnel History Raised a rebel. After the coup by the Emperor and the creation of the Empire, it quickly became apparent that not only Jedi, but many of the races and extended families who had over the years produced potential recruits for the Jedi order were being rounded up and/or executed by the imperials. While not directly related to any known Jedi, the Sarat extended family tree had produced a number of Jedi potentials and Korwin could trace distant relations to multiple actual Togruta Jedi. For this reason, the entire Sarat clan went into hiding soon after the formation of the Empire. Many of these family members were tracked down and if not killed outright, have never been heard from since their capture. Korwin ended up moving around a great deal, mostly among rebel sympathizers, or outright rebels themselves. Growing up rebel has had a number of benefits for Korwin including knowing a great many rebels and after years of unofficial assistance, allowing Korwin to participate in rebel activities long before he was able to officially become a part of the organization. While attaining rank in the organization, Korwin also proved an able pilot on a variety of vehicles. The B-Wing is Korwin’s first fully approved starship, but may not be his last.
