In order to generate electricity we have to make a turbine spin. To do that we need to extract super-heated water form the ground through the production well were the steam is extracted and that makes the turbine spin. The turbine spins a magnet in a generator to make an electrical current. That electricity is then sent to the power grid before been distributed to houses. After the water has been used it is sent back into the ground via the injection well to reheat and be used again.
