TRAID’s Charitable Objectives To protect the environment through the recycling of clothes To educate the public on issues of poverty and the environment To relieve poverty anywhere in the world

72 full time paid staff 15 site finders 1,550 textile recycling banks in the UK Textile collection logistics Warehouse handling 210 tons of clothing a month 10 shops open 7 days per week 10,000 garments on sale to the public weekly An education department TRAIDremade workshop Funding international development projects

Three areas of competition:- Organisations that operate textile recycling banks Anyone wanting second-hand clothing for resale Retailers that want shop sites with high footfall in prime locations

Achievements to date are:- Raising over £30 million pounds for our charitable objectives Diverting over 35,000 tonnes of textiles from the waste stream saving 490,000 tonnes of CO2e Education outreach of over 100,000 children, young people and adults since 2005 Funding 34 international development projects positively impacting on over 700,000 people living in some of the world’s poorest communities
