Homework

Homework Students will write their assignments in their agenda each afternoon. It will be stamped with my initials if they have written everything down. Anything that needs to be finished or is homework should be highlighted and needs to be completed at home. Read for at least twenty minutes every night (record in reading log) This will increase to minutes a night. Math 2-3 nights a week (assigned according to individually) Projects Unfinished class work becomes homework

Class Work

Classwork I expect work to be completed in class. This enables me to best assess your child’s performance. Occasionally, class work may be sent home for completion. This is a good sign that your child is struggling with time management.

Grading Policy

3 – Meeting 3 rd Grade Expectations A child can independently tie their shoes with mastery 2 – Making Progress A child can tie shoes with help 1 – Insufficient Progress Even with help, the child cannot tie their shoes

Davison Dollars Students can earn Davison Dollars for anything from on task behavior to answering questions and participating. Students can earn dollars individually, as a table group, or as a class. It is the student’s responsibility to keep track of their Davison Dollars. I will not replace lost money.
