 Concrete Noun – nouns that can be seen, heard, tasted, touched, or smelled  Abstract Noun– nouns that cannot be recognized using the 5 senses  Collective Nouns – name a group of people or things

 Count Nouns – Nouns that can be counted  Non-count Nouns– Nouns that cannot be counted  Compound Nouns – made by joining two words together
