Contacts Click the new button
A new blank Contact Form appears. Type Full Name and press the Tab Key Type Title and press the Tab Key Type Company and press the Tab Key Type Phone number and press the Tab Key Type in the address and press the Tab Key Type address and press the Tab Key Click the Save and Close button
Creating a Message to a Contact Right click on the Contact Select “New Message to Contact” will appear
Schedule Appointment or meeting with Contact Right Click on Contact Select New Appointment or New Meeting Request with Contact Meeting or Appointment Screen appears
Viewing Contacts Select View Address cards Detailed Address Cards Phone List By Category By Company By Location By Follow-up Flag To Delete – Right click on Contact name and select Delete or delete the Contact
Distribution Lists Click New (arrow) and select Distribution List and click ok
Type in Name of Distribution List Click Select Members button Names can be selected from: Global Address Book All Address Lists All Contacts All Groups All Users Public Folders
Select Global Address Book and add names
Click OK to close the Address Book Select Save and Close The Distribution List is added as a Contact Can Add or remove names later Right Click and select New Message to Contact New appears Type message and send To Delete Distribution List Click on the list and Delete or right click on the list and select Delete.

How AutoComplete of Recipients Works in Outlook 2003 AutoComplete is the feature where once an has been sent to a recipient, the address will be remembered. From that point on you can simply type the persons name in the address field and Outlook will provide you with a list of possible addresses. This feature will be temporarily disabled during the migration project and will be re-enabled after the migration to minimize issues with the AutoComplete list being incorrect after users are moved from GroupWise to Exchange.
AutoComplete MS Outlook has the AutoComplete feature, however it is turned off until all of CDFA has been migrated. After all of CDFA has been migrated, instructions on how to turn on AutoComplete will be sent to all staff.

Creating Rules 1.Select “Tools” from the Menu Bar. 2.From the “Tools Menu”, select “Rules and Alerts”.

Creating Rules Cont. 1.Make sure that “Start creating a rule from a template” is selected. 2.Select “Move messages from someone to a folder”. 3.Click “Next”.
