1 Sacagawea By Jenna Stolt

2 Early Life Sacagawea was born in what is now Idaho in She grew up with the Shoshoni tribe. Sacagawea lived with her mom, dad, grandmother, and her big and little brothers.

3 Education Sacagawea did not go to a formal school. She was trained mostly by her grandmother. She was trained to sew,make baskets,and other things to make her a true Indian woman.

4 Adult Life Sacagawea married Toussaint Charbonneau. She had 2 children. She believed in the religion of her tribe.

5 Fame Sacagawea accompanied the Lewis and Clark expedition. She is on the Golden Dollar!

6 Current Times Sacagawea died on Dec. 20,1844. She died from illness.

7 Sacagawea I chose to learn about Sacagawea because she is famous for helping Lewis and Clark. I also chose her because she is a Native American.
