United nations and NATO AIM: To understand the purpose of the United Nations and NATO Classwork Starter: What is meant by Human Rights?

1.No one should be held in slavery. 2.No one should be tortured. 3.Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression of that opinion in any way they wish. 4.All human beings are born free and equal and should treat all people as if they are brothers. 5.Everyone has the right to a standard of living that allows for good health. 6.Everyone has the right to wellbeing including food, clothing, housing and medical care. 7.Everyone has the right to be taken care of if they are unemployed, sick, disabled, widowed, old or unable to look after themselves. 8.Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. 9.Everyone has the right to education. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights TASK 1 Q - What rights do you think are most important?
