  In 1620 Jasper Jonathan Pierce a boy from england. has boarded the mayflower and has left his brother tom behind. He is on his way to the new world. He misses his brother and writes him a journal. Chapter 1

  Jasper doesn’t think his trip to the new land will ever end he thinks they will sail for forever until the morning of his birthday land is spotted. He is one of the first to go ashore and he thinks they have found forever. Chapter 2

 Chapter 3  The captain and the crew decide they will not settle on the land they had found they decide to leave and find somewhere better.

  After traveling another long while the find a new land and decider to stay. They call the new land Plymouth harbor, in America. The saints and the crew begin building homes. They built a cemetery so they can properly burry the dead saints. They also begin to build a fort to keep the saints safe. They have also found a lake of fresh water. The saints are very happy to be on land and are hopeful that the years to come the will thrive in the new world. Chapter 4

  After a few weeks of being in the new world many of the colonists become very sick all work on building homes and the fort has stopped everyone is put to work helping the sick. Jasper joins the army because they have had some sightings of Indians and don’t know if they are friendly or not. People keep dying from disease, no homes are being built. The first few months in Plymouth aren't looking so good for the colonists. Chapter 5

  An Indian named Samoset introduces himself to Jasper and the colonists Samoset speaks English, and the elders of the colony bring him a cloak and some knives. Samoset stays the night. Samoset and his warriors, tribe promise to not hurt the English. Chapter 6

  Everything is going good for the colonists in the new land. The Indians have taught the colonists how to grow corn and how to hunt deer. On day Jasper is on duty watching the corn when some of his school mates, Doety and Liester come to get back at Jasper for something,(Doety and Liester like to cause problems) they come and wreck a row of corn and blame it on Jasper. Chapter 7

  Jasper has gotten into some big trouble with Doety and Liester and is frightened they will hurt him so he decides to run away. In the middle of the night Japer falls asleep and wolves try and attack him but he is saved by and Indian named Chonuck. Chonuck and Jasper become really good friends. Chonuck teaches Jasper about the land and how to survive. Chapter 8

  Chonuck takes Jasper to the Nauset tribe. The Nauset people take Jasper away and tie him up he thinks he is going to die. An Indian comes in and unties him and points at his journal and so Jasper writes supposing that’s what he wants, and the Indian is amazed. The Indian takes him out of the tent where he was tied up and took him to Aspinet Aspinet say he has earned his trust, Jasper writes in his journal as the Nauset Indians watch him. Chapter 9

 Jasper takes Aspinet to the colonists and helps them crate a peace between the two peoples. He is promised a long life. Chonuck goes back to his tribe and Jasper stays with the colonists. Over the next few years Jasper works hard in the colony and makes more friends. They have a wonderful thanksgiving feast. And a few weeks after an unexpected ship sails into the harbor, Tom Jaspers brother is on the ship. Jasper and his brother were united once more. Chapter 10

  Plymouth was founded the December of  The Separatist left England in search of religious freedom.  The colonists signed the Mayflower compact, an agreement that all men will be treated equal in the good of the colony.  The Separatists met an Indian tribe called the Wampanoag. The two people got along very well and had a peace treaty that lasted many years. The history:
