What is Homophobia? What is Homophobia? Homophobia is a fear or hatred of homosexuals or people who are identified or perceived as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). Homophobia manifests itself in different forms, for example homophobic jokes, physical attacks, discrimination in the workplace.

Internalised HomophobiaInternalised Homophobia Internalised Homophobia can lead to life long suffering of depression. It also causes some gay teenagers to commit suicide. LGBT's can also suffer from mental distress or mental health. It also cause other effects to your health. Some people even try and deny there sexual orientation, they also don't feel like they are good enough it can also lead to conflicts of the law. The lists go on and on but why i am trying to say/put across is the fact that some people are even scared to accept or tell people they are gay cause the consequences.
