4 Existing BTEC Firsts (QCF) Accredited until 31 Dec 2012 Certification end date 31 Dec 2015 DfE Headline Measures 2013 ○ No change, ALL current QCF qualifications will count ○ Some accredited NQF qualifications will count (Art & Design, I&CT, Sport - for one year new next generation BTEC First Awards only) DfE Headline Measures 2014 ○ Extended Certificate (180GLH) or Diploma (360GLH) only ○ Will count as 1 GCSE regardless of size ○ Hospitality – Diploma (360GLH) only will count as 1 GCSE ○ Some QCF BTECs will not count (Public Services and Landbased)
