Laboratorial Education Teachers’ Professionalism for motivational learning in community The Project Idea The basic idea is to develop a European model for both teacher and learning-provider training so as to form a professionalism oriented to a new and shared teaching methodology, defined as Laboratorial Education, to be applied in upper secondary schools and in VET, especially with learners between 14 and 18 years old. 2 ©Copyright I.S.P.E.F. - E.C.E. all right reserved

The Project Idea The inspiring principle is to improve teacher and learning-provider professionalism, in order to overcome the existing gap between education, VET and job market. The foreseen results of the project The production of a research report on the meaningful cases of teacher training on Laboratorial Education, on paper and digital format, in three languages (Italian, English and Spanish). The creation of a L.ED. portal in four languages (English, French, Italian and Spanish). Dynamic Model of training, implemented on the portal and in the network of schools belonging to the partnership. Validation of Dynamic Model L.ED. L.E.D. Laboratorial Education L.E.D. The training model, after being validated by the experimentation, could be used by the involved schools in each country and by the steering committee formed at the beginning of the project. L.E.D. This project hopes to address the still critical gaps existing between different educational and training systems all over Europe, not only in organization and management, but even in teaching and training methodologies. The project will be realised through the following phases: the development of an European Community of Practice the identification and analysis in each partner country of relevant cases and best practices of effective training of learning providers the outlining of a professional profile and a dynamic model of teacher and learning provider training the definition of training courses based on that model and developed with a participated methodology, in strong relationship to specific local contexts validation of the model by means of an experimental pilot study L.E.D.
