CASCADE Validation
First “ADS-B out” Implementation Sites LVNL (Netherlands) implements ADS-B NRA with WAM (2009 in N. Sea) LFV Sweden implements ADS-B NRA (2008, Kiruna) ADS-B RAD (2009, Ostgota) 7 ANSPs (CRISTAL MED:Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Turkey) validate ADS-B NRA & RAD towards implementation decision by 2008 DFS has included ADS-B (and WAM) in its SUR Strategy Target date is 2015
ADS-B-in: Emerging implementation CRISTAL ATSAW (simulations of ATSA VSA, SURF, AIRB) to be completed in Oct 2007 CRISTAL ITP (simulations and trial in N. Atlantic) ongoing CRISTAL Germany (TIS-B feasibility for ATSAW) ongoing CRISTAL Sweden (ATSAW trials for GA) completed: Implementation by 2009 (Ostgota) Certification target date: 2009
