Gœgróphïô chapter 1

Australia’s Geographical Dimensions On this page of the 1 st chapter the size of each state is listed with an exact percentage to how large it is and how much space it takes up of the Australian continent. On the first page it tells us that Australia is one of the seven continents of the world and that is extends over a radius of 7682 square kilometers. It also tells us that in the west coast the sun rises 2 hours earlier than it does in the east.

Hemispheres In this photo it shows the half of the earth and where the Western, Northern, Southern and Eastern hemispheres are located from a curtain angle of vision to where the earth is located in space. Australia is located in the southern hemisphere along with New Zealand and Antarctica The Blue line separates the four hemispheres which allows the world to become a split congregation.

Longitude & Latitude The system of measurement for the earth This unit of measurement is used to measure the correct and equal distance between the oceans continents and countries. Astrologers and astronomers may use these measurements for various reasons. To draw maps find curtain landmarks and to support evidence of dramatic weather changes and differences In curtain hemispheres at a given time when spotted they can put down the latitude and longitude to have data relevant for the future.

Aboriginal people & there art This is just one of the many ceremonial paintings done by Aboriginal people they would use these pictures to show stories of the past and present, “The dream time.” These stories and cave slash rock paintings are still used today to understand what the earlier people, landscapes and relationships between the aboriginal people and land where like. Although looking at this is may just look like a bunch of bland land colors and abstract shapes but each symbol is recognized as a significant aboriginal landmark.
