Solution Center Vision As the IUPUI “Front Door” for civic engagement, research, and business assistance inquiries, the Solution Center assists nonprofit organizations, businesses, and government agencies to access the talent and resources of the campus. The Solution Center is charged with: Positioning and building awareness of IUPUI as a first point-of- contact and expert resource for the campus. Planning and managing community relationships that result in funded research, business partnerships, internships, and business assistance projects. Creating and hosting the campus programs that promote and foster research partnerships and collaboration.

Serves the state and the University as a key partner in its efforts to increase the numbers of highly trained and degreed professionals in Indiana. Facilitates meaningful collaboration and talent-driven partnerships with Indiana’s business, industry, nonprofit, and government sectors. The Solution Center is the front door to IUPUI for internships, research, and business assistance projects.

Solution Center Partnerships: Internships & Community-Based Learning Research, Resources, Intellectual Property, and Technology Business Assistance: Expertise, Training, and Projects

Solutions through the Venture Fund Government agencies, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations may request support from the Venture Fund to assist and strengthen internships, research, and business assistance projects.

Outcomes Assisted 350 organizations to develop programs and projects over the last two years. Awarded and managed over 200 grants to businesses and not-for-profits, totaling over $1.23 million. Leveraged over $1 million in match funding for projects and internships from grantees. Created over 1000 internships, research projects, and business assistance projects over the life of the Center.
