Using evidence based research to inform our work

AIP and Staff Accountability Embedded Annual Implementation Plan across the campus and all Performance and Development Plans (staffPD software). Curriculum development in teams (use of Wiki / Ultranet) Building staff capacity – strategically aligned Staff Development (eg: Differentiation focus).

Key features of our ‘change process’ All staff are literacy and numeracy teachers. Staff recruitment and formation of teams. Re-allocation of resources and new resources (National Partnerships funded staff). Timetable and program reformatting. Meetings refocused – administrivia free! Clear dialogue around ‘the work’ and this as our number 1 priority. Importance of sustainability in our efforts. Sharing and owning the data – using it to inform curriculum development and pedagogy.

The Literacy Coaching focus: Precision – focus on ONE thing Create an orderly learning environment
