Data : 1995 : company  company more than 100 employee (mandatory of have Safety Committee) and not function 88 % – 90 %. –WORK ACCIDENT STILL BE HIGH : In the year 1995 number of accident work as much case with the following detail : die / death:902people permanent disability :13.282people whereas unable to work:51.765people Compensation of accident work:Rp. 39,02 billion –Execution of observation still have the character of partial and not yet touched aspect of management of like examination and certification of boiler, forklift others.

BENEFITS OF OHSMS IMPLEMENTATION 2. FOR THE COMPANY : a.To know the elements of operation realibility improvement due to safety and health implementation. b.To provide a clear and detailed description of the status and quality of OHS at workplace c.To improve the knowledge and awareness of the employees on OHS so that it will indirectly improve the company’s productivity d.To improve the company’s image for its competitiveness in a more competitive world due to globalization era.

RECOMMENDATION : 1. To have a joint operation scheme with developed country which has implemented Occupational Health and Safety properly 2.Emphasizing that government function in issuing regulation is an essential factor to implement Occupational Health and Safety successfully 3.Improving the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety by socializing it has to be done immediately to anticipate the globalization era 4.We should inform the government through the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration to propose to ILO or international institution about the idea to having an International Regulation of OHSMS 5.We should socialization at construction company in order to more amount implementation OHS
