We often just add S if there is more than one: apples, meals, restaurants Some have plural forms: women, men, people, sheep Some nouns are uncountable and are singular water, tea, sugar, milk, bread A lot of, many and much mean ‘ a large quantity or number of something’ We use a lot of with all types of nouns There aren’t a lot of flights at the weekend. He eats a lot of rice. We use many with countable nouns: How many people? We use much with uncountable nouns: I haven’t got much money.
