1.Implementation Implementation is the realization of an application, or execution of a plan, idea, model, design, specification, standard, algorithm, or policy.planmodeldesignspecificationstandardalgorithmpolicy In computer science, an implementation is a realization of a technical specification or algorithm as a program, software component, or other computer system. Many implementations may exist for a given specification or standard. For example, web browsers contain implementations of World Wide Web Consortium-recommended specifications, and software development tools contain implementations of programming languages.computer scienceprogramsoftware component computer systemweb browsersWorld Wide Web Consortiumprogramming languages In the IT Industry, implementation refers to post-sales process of guiding a client from purchase to use of the software or hardware that was purchased. This includes Requirements Analysis, Scope Analysis, Customizations, Systems Integrations, User Policies, User Training and Delivery. These steps are often overseen by a Project Manager using Project Management Methodologies set forth in the Project Management Body of Knowledge. Software Implementations involve several professionals that are relatively new to the knowledge based economy such as Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, Solutions Architect, and Project Managers.Business AnalystsTechnical AnalystsSolutions Architect In political science, implementation refers to the carrying out of public policy. Legislatures pass laws that are then carried out by public servants working in bureaucratic agencies. This process consists of rule-making, rule- administration and rule-adjudication. Factors impacting implementation include the legislative intent, the administrative capacity of the implementing bureaucracy, interest group activity and opposition, and presidential or executive support.political sciencepublic policy Legislaturespublic servants bureaucratic agencies 3

3. Implementation แบบ hot standby A hot spare or hot standby is used as a failover mechanism to provide reliability in system configurations. The hot spare is active and connected as part of a working system. When a key component fails, the hot spare is switched into operation. More generally, a hot standby can be used to refer to any device or system that is held in readiness to overcome an otherwise significant start-up delay.failover References: 5

3. hot standby (cont.1) Examples Examples of hot spares are components such as A/V switches, computers, networked printers, and hard disks. The equipment is powered on, or considered "hot," but not actively functioning in (i.e. used by) the system. Electrical generators may be held on hot standby, or a steam train may be held at the shed fired up (literally hot) ready to replace a possible failure of an engine in service. References: 6

4. Parallel Running Parallel running is one of the ways to change from an existing system to a new one. During changeover, a new system and an existing system run side by side. To input the same data and perform the same processes, compare their output and prove the reliability of the new system. If the new system is accepted, the existing system will stop running and will be replaced by the new one.changeover inputdataprocessesoutputreliability Other than this, there is direct changeover and phase changeover.direct changeoverphase changeover The practical example of parallel running in human resource management is job placement. A new staff and an old staff work for the same job. If the new staff's performance is ok, the existing staff may not be needed any more, and will be replaced.human resource management job placement References: 7
