Acceptance - Wanting to belong and to be part of a school community.

ACCEPTANCE-WEEK 1 Monday –Discuss ways that people can show acceptance at school. “Accepting others will take you far in life.” Tuesday-Think of a time that you said something hurtful to a friend. How did it make you feel? How did you fix the situation so that you all could still be friends? Wednesday- Discuss the quote: “No person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow.” Alice Walker Thursday- What does it mean to be a part of the TCS community? Friday- Why is it important in life to be accepting of others?

ACCEPTANCE-WEEK 2 Monday- Holiday. Tuesday- Explain the quote “You don’t need someone to complete you. You only need someone to accept you completely.” Wednesday- Discuss the quote “The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you.” Unknown Thursday-Think of words that will encourage others to be more accepting of others.
