A fact is a true statement that can be shown to exist or have happened. But some facts can change. A fact that doesn’t change: Cities are full of buildings.

A fact that does change: Today it is sunny.

An opinion is a statement that tells what someone thinks. It’s a person’s personal view. She thinks life in the city is exciting, and the country is boring.
